General Rules   

  1. It is the responsibility of the contestants to know the rules and their event times and location.
  2. The decision of contest judges will be final in any and all matters pertaining to the contests and their rules.
  3. It is recommended that one starter be used for all contests and practice a cadence of “timers ready, contestants ready, One, Two, GO”
  4. “Clothing” Logging type pants no shorter than halfway between the knee and ankle must be worn. NO SHORTS OR SWEATPANTS WHILE SHOW IS IN PROGRESS. SHIRTS MUST BE WORN.
  5. Only OFFICIALS, or those actually competing or people with special permission may be allowed in the immediate area of the contest.
  6. In the event of a tie at the finish, the contestant who has amassed the most 1st place will be the winner.
  7. If there is still a tie at the finish, the contestant with the most 2nd place will be the winner, etc.

 

Team rules

 

  1. “Safety begins with us”
  2. Each competitor for all events must wear steel toe safety boots.  Hardhat, Face protectors, eye protection, ear protection and ballistic nylon safety pants or chaps and gloves must be worn in accordance to event rules.  Judges may disqualify the contestant if not all safety gear is not worn.
  3. Teams earn points in each event according to their performance. The team with the highest point total will win.
  4. Team will consist of six competitors.  No less then four and an alternative competitor may be used in the event of an injury.  All names must be submitted prior to event day.
  5. The 10 events consist of 6 singles events and 4 team events.  Each team competitor must participate in one singles event and all team members must compete in team events.
  6. In the event of disagreement between a competitor and judge/timer or official, the decision of the judges/timers or Event Official is Final.  It is the captain’s responsibility to bring any concerns to event officials (in writing as soon as possible).  If this order of events is not followed and competitor get out of control and is deem to be un-sportsman like, the competitor and the team captain will be withdrawn from the competition.  If this causes the team to have less then four competitors the team will be disqualified.
  7. There will be a captains meeting prior to the days events.  This is when team agenda are made and competitor’s names submitted for single events.
